I started on the front end, designing and building websites with WordPress, Joomla, PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and MySQL. From there I moved into branding and communications, using my visual and graphic design skills on everything from marketing campaigns to actual print production: logos, brand identities, brochures, signage, and the materials people actually hold. That's where I learned to communicate what I build, not just build it. More recently I've gone deep on the back end: data engineering, LLMs, and generative AI, working with the newest tools in the field. Along the way I grew a company, so I'm as comfortable building a system as I am communicating it and growing the business around it.
I take a project from the first stakeholder conversation to a working system: finding the data that is missing, fixing the data that exists, and building the pipelines and AI applications on top, then staying with it through delivery so the people using it actually adopt it. That work has spanned tech, media & branding, communications, health, print production, government, non-profits and education. I hold an M.S. in Data Analytics & Visualization from Yeshiva University's Katz School, and I'm the founder of AXAM, an offline-first AI learning platform that runs on Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) OpenCourseWare lectures on old or new classroom machines with no internet and no GPU. My work sits where AI, data, and human communication meet.
Across 14+ years I've co-founded a B2B tech firm, Wazi Group , serving 4,000+ clients across East Africa, migrated millions of government records, co-hosted an MIT OpenCourseWare Podcast reaching 6M+ people, and led a national Presidential campaign during a lockdown. I'm also a VC Lab-trained Venture Institute Fellow, so I can talk fundraising from the founder's side and the investor's.
I build AI & data systems that reach people the internet usually leaves behind: low-connectivity, under-resourced places where technology either reaches a real person or quietly doesn't. I care about work that travels the last mile, technically and socially.
